A dual-factor authentication system is the “Gold Standard” of internet security. A dual-factor authentication system is based on something you know (a password or PIN), and something you have (an authenticator or token). This provides a much more secure level of user authentication
than a reusable password. The Realtime Information Technology security tokens by RSA are as simple to use as entering a password plus a numeric code. Each end user is assigned an RSA token which generates a new, unpredictable code every 60 seconds. The user combines this number with a secret PIN to log into protected resources. Your Administrators, Staff and Faculty can use the RSA tokens whether local remote or mobile.
