District Defined Incident Reporting
Districts establish incident events within Realtime with each event having its own escalation procedure. By defining different escalation procedures, districts can use the Incident Reporting module to determine who needs to be notified, and how that notification will occur (phone, text, email, etc.)
The escalation procedure could be as simple as sending a text to the school nurse that a medical situation exists in the classroom, or as involved as reporting an intruder in the building, where administrators, security officers and the local police are all notified at once.
Staff security settings are used to limit who can initiate each incident event minimizing mistakes / false alarms.
Rapid and targeted notification of the incident helps to ensure a swift and effective resolution.
